Install REA and connect Claude Code

REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) provides reverse-engineering tools for agents. Start with its official setup workflow to connect Claude Code; the steps below are guidance, not an installation performed by Oh My Feed.

Prepare Claude Code, npm, and a supported Node.js runtime: ^22.19.0 || ^24.11.0 || >=26.0.0. Node.js 23, 25, and prereleases are unsupported. Run these commands yourself in your terminal.

  1. Preview the selected client's changes

    npx rea-agents@latest setup --client claude_code --dry-run

  2. Review and approve setup

    npx rea-agents@latest setup --client claude_code

  3. Restart the client, then read diagnostics

    npx rea-agents@latest doctor --client claude_code --skill --json

Even with --dry-run, npx may download, execute, and cache package code: it is not a sandbox. npm's package-download approval is separate from REA's setup approval. --client claude_code selects a client; it does not approve changes. Review the exact configuration paths, MCP registration, bundled workflow, and any optional external-tool changes before approving REA's plan. You can cancel.

After approved changes, restart the client named in the completion message. Read doctor diagnostics, then separately verify a tool call inside Claude Code on a target you are authorized to inspect. Passing doctor is not proof of a successful client tool call. Analysis and file changes still require your separate review and authorization.

These commands follow the official main-branch installation guide and select @latest at execution time; recheck the documentation and runtime requirements before running. Separate invocations may select different releases. The npm version observed on the checked date was 6.5.0; correspondence between that package's code and the main documentation was not verified. Earlier local JavaScript analysis with 6.5.0 is not evidence of Claude Code connection or setup success.

REA(Reverse Engineer Anything)는 에이전트를 위한 리버스 엔지니어링 도구를 제공합니다. Claude Code 연결은 공식 setup 절차에서 시작하세요. 아래는 안내이며 Oh My Feed가 설치를 수행했다는 뜻이 아닙니다.

Claude Code, npm과 지원되는 Node.js를 준비하세요: ^22.19.0 || ^24.11.0 || >=26.0.0. Node.js 23·25와 사전 출시 버전은 지원하지 않습니다. 명령은 사용자가 자신의 터미널에서 실행합니다.

  1. 선택한 클라이언트의 변경 계획 미리 보기

    npx rea-agents@latest setup --client claude_code --dry-run

  2. 설정 변경을 검토하고 승인하기

    npx rea-agents@latest setup --client claude_code

  3. 클라이언트를 재시작한 뒤 진단 읽기

    npx rea-agents@latest doctor --client claude_code --skill --json

--dry-run이어도 npx는 패키지 코드를 다운로드·실행·캐시할 수 있으며 샌드박스가 아닙니다. npm의 패키지 다운로드 승인과 REA의 설정 변경 승인은 별개입니다. --client claude_code는 대상 선택일 뿐 적용 승인이 아닙니다. REA가 제시하는 정확한 설정 경로, MCP 등록, 번들 워크플로와 선택적 외부 도구 변경을 읽고 승인하세요. 취소할 수 있습니다.

승인한 변경이 끝나면 완료 메시지에 명시된 클라이언트를 재시작하세요. doctor 진단을 읽은 뒤, 조사 권한이 있는 대상을 사용해 Claude Code 내부의 도구 호출을 별도로 확인하세요. doctor 통과가 실제 클라이언트 도구 호출 성공을 증명하지는 않습니다. 분석과 파일 변경에는 별도의 사용자 검토·승인이 필요합니다.

명령은 공식 main 브랜치 설치 문서에 따른 안내이며 실행 시점의 @latest를 선택합니다. 실행 전에 문서와 런타임 요구 사항을 다시 확인하세요. 서로 다른 시점에 실행하면 다른 릴리스가 선택될 수 있습니다. 확인일의 npm 관찰 버전은 6.5.0이며 해당 패키지 코드와 main 문서의 일치 여부는 검증하지 않았습니다. 이전의 6.5.0 로컬 JavaScript 분석은 Claude Code 연결이나 설정 성공의 근거가 아닙니다.
